Sejati Cards© was approached by wedding planners Eternally Yours to design a wedding invitation for their clients who already had a theme in mind – elegant, modern yet traditional. The couple was half Malay, and half German. As the wedding would be held in a garden setting, the invitation was to be given out personally, together with the favour – a batik fan. Well, just in case it gets too hot!

So I went to work, looking at ribbons, patterns, thinking of ways to include inserts like RSVP, map, etc., and the favour. The result – a simple shiny beige card with batik printed on the inside (all in 1 colour), and a foldable flap for 2 inserts. Also 2 different types of ribbon (sheer and leafy), and a few pairs of hands to produce all 150 cards.
